Bruno has been working as a consultant general surgeon since 2003.

He was appointed at the Oxford University Hospital in 2009 as a Consultant Upper GI Surgeon with special interest in minimally invasive surgery applied to obesity and cancers of the stomach and oesophagus.

He lives in Oxford with his family and enjoys walking and cycling in the British countryside as well as traveling abroad.

He ran the Blenheim Half-Marathon on 30 September 2018 and the Oxford Half Marathon on 7 October 2018. Two in one week. His chosen charity was OOSO which has a current
campaign to raise £10,000 for additional Intensive Care Beds at The Churchill Hospital.

By helping Bruno to reach his target he will be another step closer to reducing the incidence of scheduled operations being cancelled because the allocated ITU Bed has been assigned to an unplanned emergency.
