OOSO Support

OOSO provides the following support and information to new and recovering patients, carers, family and friends who wish to contact us.

  • A telephone helpline, available 7 days a week, to quickly answer your questions and talk through treatments and surgery.

Simply call Matt on ‭07759 996969‬, between 10am and 4pm, seven days a week. Matt will usually answer your call, otherwise leave a short message and he will get back to you soon afterwards. Matt is a former patient with several years of experience talking with patients and clinicians. We can also arrange for former women patients to give you a call back if you prefer.

In addition to the helpline, OOSO also:

  • maintains this website as a useful resource to new and recovering patients

  • circulates a regular e-newsletter to keep our members updated on developments and activities

  • hosts a 6-weekly confidential group zoom session for patients, carers and clinicians, answering questions and sharing experiences

  • hosts regular social events such as monthly garden centre café catch ups, BBQs and networking groups

The best way to access these is to subscribe to our fortnightly e-newsletter, by completing and and submitting our short DPR (data consent form) via the ‘Join OOSO’ button in the header of the website pages. The e-newsletter is a short, easy to read summary of what’s going on and how to access Zoom meetings and other events.
