Menu Maker

Now our webmaster Roger is back in the saddle, he's been updating and refreshing the new addition to our website titled 'Menu Maker'.  It's a handy summary of meal options you could try - should you be stuck for ideas, including a downloadable weekly menu option to capture your preferred choices. 

You can find it on the web site under HEALTH. Why not take a quick look here, and if you have suggestions you'd like us to include just email them to me and we'll add them to the listing.

Date for your diary

Our next day out will be at Wytham Woods for our annual BBQ and sponsored cycle ride on Saturday 10th September. Details will be circulated by newsletter nearer the time.

As in previous years this is a popular and well attended event. To enjoy the BBQ there's no need to book, simply turn up on the day. But if you'd like to join in the cycle ride please let me know sooner rather than later, by dropping me a line here.  There will be two cycle groups, a 52 mile group and a shorter version of the same route of approximately 20 miles.

One of our long time supporters and a former patient Pete Adams recently published his first ever book, a thoughtful and in-depth account of his experiences with oesophageal cancer, how he came to terms with it and adapted to a new and fulfilling life. 

‘Tell Me Why..’ is now available from Amazon and WH Smith online, just search for ‘Tell Me Why’ by Peter Adams.

And finally

Due to popular demand our zoom sessions continue, so please do join us on our next zoom group session, on Tuesday 23rd August at 7pm. If you aren’t already on our zoom invitees list just drop me a line here - we’d love you to join in.  Details of the session will be circulated in the next newsletter.
